Join us as we transform the historic, Frank Lloyd Wright-renovated Light Court for an evening of celebration. All proceeds directly support the Trust’s education programs and historic site preservation.
Frank Lloyd Wright wasn’t the only artist in the family! Maginel Wright Barney was a children’s illustrator and fiber artist, creating numerous “long-point” embroidery pieces throughout her life. Join the Trust’s Education Intern and Fiber Artist, Joey Drouin, for an afternoon of architecture and embroidery!
Join author Dominic A. Pacyga for conversation about his book Clout City (University of Chicago Press, 2025). Clout City explores the cultural, ethnic, and religious forces that built the “Chicago machine” of political influence, from the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 and the city’s rise and fall as an industrial center in the early 20th century, up through today’s reshaped political landscape.
